The only waterproofing membrane on the market worth using is the NAC Strataflex Waterproof Sheet Membrane System from Crack Isolation.  At the River Street Apartments in Richmond a liquid membrane was initially installed which failed and let us down.  The movement in the substrate with thermal expansion destroyed the liquid membrane causing irreparable damage to the tiles.  We subsequently installed the Strataflex Membrane System over the top of the existing damaged tiles.  It has been a brilliant success and we know that it is now guaranteed for life.
